Somewhere in the Italy -not too far from the sea- we find this forgotten pool. For years, this pool attracted families from all over the region. While the parents were sunbathing in the burning sun, their children could go down one of the three waterslides into the main pool.

In the building on the premises events were hosted and visitors could buy ice cream, snacks and drinks.

Now, the waterslides lead trough a dense forest of trees and bamboo and end in a crumbling and empty pool. No more screaming kids in the water. The only sounds we hear are the crunching leaves under our feet while we venture into the jungle – and we hear the barking dog from the neighbours who already heard us sneaking around.

The summer of 2013 or 2014 seems to have been the last season for the pool. It is unclear why this popular summertime destination had to close its doors.
