This château was built in the 1880’s in neo-gothic style, unfortunately that’s all historical information I could find. It’s unclear when the property got abandoned. I found a photo from 2012 where the château was still inhabited. It’s a shame that such an unique place hasn’t been sold but was left abandoned instead.
The unique exterior features statues of dogs with wings and dragons are overlooking the premises from the tower. The interior is well decorated and worth showing as well. On the ground floor there’s a big fireplace surrounded by beautiful woodwork and the hallway is decorated with tiles showing all kinds of animals.
Unfortunately, the château has been quite popular in the recent years, resulting in a lot of smashed windows and rubble inside.
March 2022: the château has been even more vandalised; decorated tiles have been broken off the walls and the statue at the entrance was damaged heavily…
