Palazzo di L dei Conti M

Visited in 2020
Duration of visit : 1,5 hours

In a village with less than 1500 inhabitants we found this old palace from the 17th century. It was the summer residency of a count which lived the rest of the year in Turin.

The front is located in the middle of the village and surrounded by high walls and a fence, so we had to find our way through the dense forest at the back. The interior of the palace was quite empty unfortunately and in some parts the floor had already collapsed. Only the beautiful frescoes on the walls and ceilings remind of a place which belonged to the rich.

The palace was abandoned in the 60’s and was put up for auction recently for several millions.
